BOLD ROCK® BEVERAGE packaging redesign and line extension
crafted in the blue
ridge mountains Bold Rock® originated in 2012 from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is now the nation’s largest independently owned cider company. The brand challenged 3TC to bring consistency across the product lines, communicate its unique proposition and elevate its shelf impact. We accomplished this by combining the brand’s bold, down-to-earth personality with the essence of the Blue Ridge Mountains within the rugged logo and mountainous graphics. These elements were leveraged across existing products packaging and into new line extensions building a strong cohesive brand presence.
CRISP & REFRESHING Every batch of cider, seltzer or craft cocktail has local, fresh pressed Blue Ridge Mountain apples in each can or bottle, so it was important to reinforce Bold Rock’s crisp and refreshing flavor. When redesigning the cider and developing graphics for the new line of products, 3TC needed to clearly communicate flavor differentiation as well as generate excitement. Elements of fruit, as well as refreshing droplets and splashes bring energy and appetite appeal to every offering.

make the bold choice! When redesigning the line of premium craft cocktails, 3TC created a strong visual tie to the new Bold Rock branding elements, while also maintaining some of its previously established equities. The addition of the splashing cocktails emphasized that these are spirit forward drinks and bring a strong hit of refreshment and taste appeal.
